Meet Billlie

The name “Billlie” represents the B-side that exists within everyone's life. This B-side could take many forms such as a person, a memory, or our inner self and emotions. Yet, just like the B-side of a record, this side of you often gets overlooked, hidden away, or even completely forgotten. As we grow older, we may not even notice its disappearance from our lives. Through their music, Billlie tell the story of their B-side and their journey of rediscovering it.

What makes Billlie and their music especially unique is the way they experiment with different genres and concepts, transforming them into something distinctly their own. From synthfunk to nu jazz, Billlie deliberately crafts these styles to serve the story within their lyrics. The members also fully embody each genre through vocals, stage presence, and performance, bringing their story to life. This approach not only highlights their individual talents and their years of experience, but also reflects their eagerness to try new things. As Moon Sua shared with NME, “We are having a lot of fun while creating our music. We are always thinking about what else we could do next – always up for a challenge.”

• Billlie originally debuted with 6 members. Sheon was later added to the group on November 19, 2021.
• Throughout 2023 and 2024, Moon Sua and Suhyeon went on hiatus for personal and/or health reasons. Both fully returned to group activities on April 11, 2024.
• From July to August 2025, Haruna went on hiatus due to concerns for her saftey. She returned to group activities on August 2025.
